Panna Cotta - Basic and Classic recipe
Panna cotta by definition is a a jellied cream and sugar, it's easy to make with just 5 ingredients.
- 300 ml milk
- 200 ml cream
- 100 g sugar
- 5 g gelatine
- 2 tbsp vanilla extract
In a small bowl with cold water, sprinkle the gelatin over the top and let it stir for a few minutes.
Into a saucepan add the milk and sugar, and bring it to a boil while stirring it. After it starts boiling, add the gelatine and stir until it's dissolved. Take it off the stove.
Add the cream and the vanilla extract.
Pour the mix into 4 glasses or ramekins. Refrigerate for 2-4 hours or until is completely set.
